Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian goal machine currently playing for Napoli, once revealed his preference to join Lionel Messi in Major League Soccer (MLS) over playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in the Saudi Pro League, if given equal conditions.

During a Twitch interview in 2023—joined by former Italy star Mario Balotelli—Osimhen was asked which league he would prefer if presented with the same terms. Without hesitation, he responded:

“If I had the same conditions, I would go to MLS.”
